Please find below extracts from our guest
book plus some extracts from letters that clients have written to
us in our first few months of opening.
"Dear Fabrizio, Roberto and Sandra, I just
wanted to let you know that Hotel Teatro Pace was a wonderful place
to stay. I can't imagine a more ideal home away from home. All three
of you were extremely helpful and gracious hosts. Your recommendations
on local businesses, as well as Roma's finest wine purveyor (Trimani),
were very helpful and made my first trip to the city an extraordinarily
rewarding experience. Your skills with the English language rivals
what we encounter in most American hotels, by the way. The entire
staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, and
I found the proximity to Campo Fiori and the Piazza Farnese, where
I often liked to sit for my second morning cappuccino, to be just
as useful as the proximity to Piazza Navona and the rest of Centro
Storico. I'll be sending all of my friends to your hotel. Thanks
again for being such wonderful hosts.Sincerely."
David Alsdorf, New York, NY
"Just a few words of thanks for making our
recent stay in Rome so enjoyable. All the staff were very friendly
and helpful especially the person on reception when we arrived (we
assume you are the manager, but we forgot to ask your name). The
location of the hotel was worth the money alone, all the sights
are within walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable and
clean. They were also very quiet and peaceful - the only problem
was that we slept in longer than we intended! Once again thanks
for a lovely stay and we will certainly recommend you to our friends.
We would also recommend the Take It Easy bar round the corner. Kind
Regards."
Trevor & Sue Hardy, Nottingham, UK
"Hotel is in a super central location for
visiting the majority of the main sights ( its less than 100 metres
off the Piazza Navona ) This hotel is a prime example of first impressions
don't always count. As we drove down the little alleys to get to
the hotel it didn't inspire you, however you enter the hotel to
be greeted by a baroque spiral stone staircase, it only got better
as we looked round our room. The room was a pleasure to stay in,
air conditioned ( which we really appreciated as the temperature
in july was 41 degrees ) very nicely furnished and decorated with
all you would need, The bathroom was also very spacious and well
appointed. I think the hotel has only recently opened or been renovated,
but all credit to them, it made our stay in Rome very pleasant.
Although there is no restaurant/breakfast room you receive juice/coffee
and 2 croissants delivered to your room at a time which you pre-determine
the night before. We found the receptionists both very helpful and
friendly. We would certainly recommend the hotel teatro pace as
a good value 3 star hotel in a great spot. We will return."
Mr Paul Taylor, UK
"This hotel offers the best of both worlds
when in Rome. You can escape the busy city into quiet cobbled streets,
and into the quiet and relaxed hotel. And you will still be close
to the sights and the amazing Piazza Navona for an evening meal
within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel creates a great atmosphere,
and the combination of 'old' and 'new' in the way it is designed
and furnished is beautiful. If you want a hotel which has a flavour
of old rome, with all the modern comforts, this is the place to
stay." Mr Matt Davies, UK
“A Cool, Hip and Hedonistic Hotel in one
of the most happening areas of Rome.” Seamus Devitt,
Boston, USA
“The location is fabulous and breakfast in
bed was just the tonic after being out to the wee hours sampling
various cocktails in the Bars like Johnathan’s Angels and
Bar del Fico which are only steps away.” Richard Whittle,
Northern Ireland, UK
“After an exhausting afternoon of sightseeing,
there’s nothing more pleasing than making your way back to
the Hotel Teatro pace, situated in the secluded and seductive street
of Via del Teatro Pace this hotel’s serenity and tranquil
location is very much an antidote to the hustle and bustle of the
crowded piazzas outside. The coffee and tea making facilities in
the room where also a welcome tonic to an overdose of sightseeing
which is inevitable giving the hotel’s position in the heart
of Baroque Rome.” David Ling, Scotland, UK
The reception staff is very friendly and the manager
Fabrizio bends over backwards to help you with all your needs..
The house keeping staff are just as nice and are meticulous in their
preparation and cleaning of your room." Niagh McGarvey,
Ireland
“If the price of a cappuccino in Piazza Navona
(5 Euro if you sit down) haven’t left you a little shell shocked
then the spiral stone staircase at the Hotel Teatro Pace will take
your breath away. After weaving your way through the meandering
narrow streets outside, the sense of serenity and peacefulness of
the hotel is a welcome tonic – especially if you're like me
and you’re carrying an incongruous amount of oil paintings
and prints purchased in the many art boutiques nearby. I slept without
a disturbance for the whole 03 nights as the soundproofing is exemplary
(probably due to the 4 feet thick walls which separate each room
) Then after a good night’s sleep, breakfast in bed –
fantastic” Matt Stott, England, UK
“Unlike the usual excitement of decamping
to your room, my first instinct was to climb the stone staircase
right to its’ summit – I was glad I did, the view of
Borromini’s Dome (Church of Saint Agnes in Agony in Piazza
Navona ) and the other rooftops of Rome was simply AWESOME. The
Beige and yellow facades blend beautifully with the terracotta rooftops
and one can see immediately why AS Roma football team are called
the Giallorossi or red and yellows. The view was magnificent and
combined with the hotel décor make you just want to laze
about and order a nice cool refreshing drink.” Jennifer
Byrne - New York, USA
